CASE STUDY
bright people
Following the huge success of the brand identity The Studio created for the 2007 APA Creative Awards (now affectionately dubbed The Olives!), we were asked to develop the brand ready for the launch of the 2008 awards. The APA were so pleased with our previous work, they asked us to take on the actual construction of the awards entry website as well as its visual design this time around.
illuminating ideas
The Olives have proved to be a popular brand icon that has won the affections of the customer publishing industry. Developing the brand whilst retaining its character was therefore always going to be a tricky task but our designers approached it with their usual aplomb and achieved spectacular results. The 2008 brand development has now been applied to a dedicated website that has a user-friendly on-line submission system for awards entries that The Studio built and tailored specifically for the event. This was joined by a suite of printed collateral including invites, the awards brochure and of course, the coveted Olives themselves.
brilliant results
"The Studio has designed an enormously successful website that combines great design with seamless functionality. " Julia Hutchison, Director

The website succeeded in attracting more than double the entries compared to last year. This contributed to a fantastic awards night playing host to over 500 attendees at The Kensington Roof Gardens. Please see www.apacreativeawards.com for more details.
