| bright people The Studio created a brand identity for AEO's annual conference which took place on 27 November in Brighton. For the client, location was key to fulfilling the brief and with the first nights' Icebreaker reception being held on Brightons Pier, and the following days conference at the Metropole, there was a great deal of scope creatively. | |
| illuminating ideas Very early on in the development of the project the phrase 'All Change' was used to bring a unifying theme to the expansive topics covered in the conference. "With such a dynamic starting point we applied as much energy as possible to the geographic theme of Brighton, creating a recognisable and enjoyable style and content to the brand; which packed as much of a punch in print as it did fully animated in the AV". The brand was implemented onto all conference related marketing material including dedicated web page, brochure and AV. | |
| brilliant results Remarking on the brand identity, Hilary Lawson, AEO Director said "We were delighted with the creative for the 2008 conference. Many of our delegates commented on it and they are a tough crowd to please as they are all in the events business themselves. The theme carried through the whole event from the initial website to signage, badges and graphics on site. The initial animated graphic encapsulated lots of the themes of the conference but in an eye-catching, humorous way that appealed to this audience. The event has been held successfully at Brighton in the past so The Studio's creative treatment reinforced the positive feeling of back to Brighton.
